- Perform all aspects of landscape and property maintenance, including garden bed maintenance, weeding, grass cutting, trimming, shrub and hedge pruning, tree pruning, planting and mulching
- Strong horticultural knowledge with the proficiency in the identification of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and weeds, as well as how to maintain and care for them.
- Minimum 3–5 years of applicable horticultural or landscape maintenance INDUSTRY experience
- Diploma, degree, apprenticeship or recognized certification in Horticulture, Landscape Technology, Plant Science, Arboriculture or a related field is an ASSET.
- Experience safely operating commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers and other landscape maintenance equipment.
- Ability to lift, crouch, kneel, stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work for full-time hours
- Ability to work outdoors in rain, heat, humidity and changing weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a crew
- Ability to drive a light-duty truck and trailer combination, including reversing, is an ASSET
- Valid Full G-Class driver’s licence with a CLEAN driver’s abstract
- Clean background check.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Availability to perform snow and ice management duties during the winter months.
