Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join their team. This is a permanent full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is interested in developing their leadership skills over time.
Working with a close-knit team of four, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and forklift operation. The ideal candidate will bring strong warehouse experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to support and mentor team members when needed.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and store products.
- Support daily inbound and outbound shipping and receiving activities.
- Prepare, pick, and stage orders for shipment.
- Accurately receive and put away incoming inventory.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock organization.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other computer systems to complete warehouse transactions.
- Ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Work closely with team members to maintain workflow and productivity.
- Assist in training and supporting new employees when required.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Previous forklift operating experience.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Previous experience acting as a lead hand, trainer, mentor, or informal team resource is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
- Inventory experience is considered an asset.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Comfortable using computers and warehouse software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: $22 per hour.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
