Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Provide knowledgeable advice on products, especially in technology sales
- Handle POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Upsell additional products or services to meet customer needs and increase sales
- Manage time efficiently to serve multiple customers promptly during busy periods
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
- Organize stock, monitor inventory levels, and ensure shelves are well-stocked
- Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or merchandising preferred
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform product demos confidently, especially in technology or technical sales fields
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse customer bases
- Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
