Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances following blueprints and schematics.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper assembly of plumbing components within building frameworks.
- Follow all safety protocols and building codes to ensure a secure working environment.
- Document work performed through detailed reports and logs for project records and compliance purposes.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues.
- Proficiency in HVAC systems, maintenance procedures, and general construction practices.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of schematic diagrams related to plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in demanding environments.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
