Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure safe food handling.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal assembly processes.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
