Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Extension Technician to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling and exceptional customer service skills, providing clients with high-quality extension services in a welcoming environment. Duties
- Consult with clients to determine their hair extension needs and desired outcomes
- Perform professional hair extension applications using various techniques such as tape-in, keratin bonds, or sew-in methods
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene throughout all procedures to ensure client safety and comfort
- Educate clients on proper hair care, maintenance, and styling tips for their extensions
- Upsell additional salon services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
- Ensure the salon environment remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in hair styling with a focus on extensions preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a salon setting
- Ability to upsell retail products and promote additional services naturally during client interactions
- Excellent communication skills to provide clear consultations and build rapport with clients
- Previous experience working at the front desk or handling retail sales is a plus
