Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, fine dining environment, ensuring each guest has a memorable experience. Experience with food handling, POS systems, and hospitality standards is essential. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using TOAST POS systems and managing reservations using OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS or cashiering systems
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including wine pairings or specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the standards of hospitality and guest relations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally
- Experience with food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Prior host/host experience or serving roles in hospitality settings is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation, food industry standards, and guest relations will be advantageous for success in this role
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
