We are seeking a motivated and dependable Medical Delivery Driver to join our team as an Independent Contractor to cover routes from Peterborough to Warkworth, Napanee, Kingston and back to Peterborough, in this order.
Mon-Thurs (4 days) to cover a route that goes to Kingston. Pickup time in Peterborough is 5:15 pm
This role involves safely transporting medical supplies to various healthcare facilities and clients, ensuring timely and professional delivery. As a key part of our delivery network, you will play a vital role in supporting community health by providing reliable, efficient service. Responsibilities
- Driver required to safely to deliver medical supplies across designated routes in Peterborough and surrounding stops.
- Manage route driving with precision, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to guarantee on-time deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with healthcare staff and clients during deliveries.
- Verify shipment accuracy, complete delivery documentation, and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle to ensure safe transportation of all cargo.
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience, preferably in courier or medical logistics roles.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
