YOUR MISSION-
Review, plan, and process purchase requisitions.

Manage purchasing activities within your assigned product categories through our SAP MRP system, with a continuous focus on cost optimization and quality control.

Issue purchase orders and perform follow-ups to ensure material availability according to end-user requirements.

Inform internal clients of challenges and propose optimal solutions related to sourcing, costs, lead times, and product discontinuations.

Support internal teams through your procurement expertise.

Conduct market analyses, identify new suppliers, and advise production and follow-up teams on textile materials.

Support internal clients in managing supplier relationships.

Prepare and manage requests for quotations (RFQs).

Maintain and update SAP and MRP information, including material and supplier master data (Info Records) and lead times, to support long-term supply planning.

Serve as the liaison between Procurement and Creative teams for productions and special events.
YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE-
Postsecondary education in a technical or business-related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the textile or fashion industry.

Strong understanding of purchasing planning tools and inventory management systems.

Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent internal customer service.

Ability to act as a true business partner, demonstrating positive leadership and strong teamwork skills.

Monitor and improve supplier performance, costs, and delivery, while building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Proven ability to negotiate independently with suppliers with minimal supervision.

Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong organizational and planning skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of assigned projects.

Valid driver’s license.

Excellent communication skills in both French and English.

Interest in business analysis within a procurement environment.

Ability to commute to our Montréal Head Office four times per week.

Good knowledge of the Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
