Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Digital Literacy Instructor to empower learners with essential digital skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible manner. This role involves guiding students through foundational digital tools and fostering confidence in their technology use, contributing to their personal and professional growth.
Duties
- Deliver engaging lessons on digital literacy topics, including basic computer skills, internet navigation, online safety, and productivity tools
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to diverse learner needs and skill levels
- Facilitate hands-on activities that promote practical understanding of digital applications
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, participation, and confidence-building
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements
- Collaborate with program staff to continuously improve curriculum content and instructional methods
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a classroom or workshop setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Prior classroom experience is highly desirable
- Passion for education and empowering learners through technology
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and levels of digital proficiency
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
