## Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist individuals in various settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or private homes with daily activities and provide emotional support. ## Responsibilities - Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and toileting - Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment - Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals under care - Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members ## Skills - Experience in home care, patient care, or caregiving is preferred - Knowledge of assisted living or nursing home procedures is a plus - Ability to lift and move patients safely when required - Familiarity with medication administration protocols is beneficial - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and their families - Understanding of hospice care principles is advantageous Join our team and make a difference in the lives of those in need!
