Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer/Engineer to join our team. There is a requirement of a strong background in Inventor, with minimum 5 years of experience in architectural millwork and cabinetry. Familiarity with Solid Works, Mozaik and Aspire software is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D shop drawings/cut files and models using parameters for millwork projects.
- Collaborate with the design, manufacturing, and management teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
- Interpret and understand customer and project specifications, technical drawings, and ‘blueprints’.
- Ability to communicate via email & phone calls with clients and suppliers
- Maintain and update project documentation and files.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience as a CAD Designer/Engineer, preferably in the millwork or woodworking industry.
- Experience with Inventor, Solid Work & Mozaik software is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
- A passion for design and a keen eye for detail.
