Qualifications:
Downtown Toronto dental practice is looking for an experienced Certified Dental Assistant (CDA II) to work Monday to Thursday and potentially some Saturdays. You must be available to work some evenings until 7pm. We are a modern practice with state-of-the-art equipment, with a great team and patient base.
The right candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience working as a Dental Assistant in Canada with experience in all clinical procedures, including surgeries, dental implants, and Invisalign. You must have excellent communications skills and chair-side manners, be organized and self-motivated, have good time management skills, and be able to lead the clinical team to ensure a smooth day.
Your role and responsibilities include:
- Chairside assisting various dental procedures, including restorative, surgery, endo, Invisalign, etc.
- Taking digital radiographs and iTero scan
- Sterilization with proper protocols
- Assisting the Dental Hygienist as needed
- Ordering supplies
- Keeping dental office clean and organized
- Helping with front desk duties as needed
Qualifications:
- CDA II and HARP Certifications
- Minimum 2-3 years experience working in a dental office as an assistant
- Tracker experience is an Asset
- Front desk experience is an Asset
- Excellent communications skills and chair-side manners
- Organized, self-motivated, able to multitask and manage time efficiently
Compensation is based on experience.
