We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Stone Fabricator with a strong background in marble and granite fabrication, with demonstrated expertise in precision bevelled edge finishing and custom architectural stone work.
This role is suited for a disciplined trades professional who can consistently produce high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, finishing, and preparation of marble and granite components to exact specifications, ensuring all work meets established quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, cut, shape, and polish marble and granite materials with precision
- Execute bevelled edge finishing and other edge profiles according to specifications
- Read and interpret shop drawings, technical specifications, and work orders
- Operate stone fabrication machinery, hand tools, and polishing equipment safely and effectively
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy, finish, and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
- Work collaboratively with production and installation teams to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience in stone fabrication (marble and granite required) 3 years
- Strong expertise in bevelled edge finishing and stone surface detailing
- Ability to accurately read measurements, drawings, and fabrication instructions
- Experience with stone-cutting, shaping, and polishing equipment
- Strong understanding of quality standards in stone manufacturing
- Physically capable of handling heavy materials in a safe manner
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and under production timelines
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
