CLP is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill up to two seasonal Building Custodian positions.
The individuals in this role reports to the Manager of Sunnyside Campground and Accommodations.

(Seasonal Position)
Custodians staff are primarily responsible for the cleaning, disinfection and sanitization of the buildings, facilities and washrooms located within Sunnyside Campground.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Perform a variety of interior and exterior building cleaning functions such as dusting
fixtures, mop-wash, scrub floors, clean washrooms including washing sinks, toilets
and floors and replenish supplies.
Operate cleaning equipment such as a vacuum, blower, and other related cleaning
equipment.
Collect and dispose of refuse.
Set up rooms as required in preparation for meetings, programs, and/or rentals including setting and removing furnishings and equipment.
Maintain inventory, including firewood, and notify the Campground Administrator of low inventory levels.
All Positions Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Provide excellent customer service, which may include minor assistance to campers
Valid driver's license
Ability to operate golf carts, gators and maintain daily cart check log reports.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and balance overlapping priorities.
Ability to complete WHIMIS training and;
a satisfactory police information check.
These are Union positions under the Collective Agreement between Cultus Lake Park and CUPE Local 458. The incumbents will normally work between 4-40 hours per week, where shifts may be up to eight (8) hours per day (exclusive of a lunch break not to exceed one-half hour). Scheduled between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm. Shifts may include weekends and statutory holidays. Performance of duties requires working outside in all kinds of climactic conditions. The incumbent is required to follow all safety practices and procedures in the performance of duties.
The wage rate for this position is $21.52 per hour plus 12% in lieu of benefits as per the Cultus Lake Park Board CUPE 2025-2026 Collective Agreement.
