Responsibilities
- Assist with site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as directed by supervisors
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing work areas and delivering supplies promptly
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision while adhering to safety protocols
- Follow instructions for specific tasks related to construction, landscaping, or maintenance projects
- Help with setting up work zones, barricades, and safety signage to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to identify maintenance needs or hazards
Experience
- Prior experience in general labour, construction, landscaping, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and willingness to learn best practices
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Reliable with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
