Rainbow Dreams Day Home Agency is looking for caring, responsible, and motivated individuals who are interested in operating a licensed family day home from their own home in Calgary.
If you enjoy working with children and would like to build a rewarding home-based childcare career, our agency can support you through the approval process and provide ongoing guidance, resources, and parent referrals.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, caring, and nurturing home environment for children
- Plan age-appropriate play and learning activities
- Follow Alberta Family Day Home Standards and agency policies
- Maintain required child care records and documentation
- Communicate professionally with parents and families
- Participate in agency monitoring visits and training
- Maintain a clean, safe, and child-friendly day home environment
Qualifications
- Passion for working with children
- Responsible, reliable, and professional
- Suitable home environment to operate a family day home
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Alberta Early Childhood Educator certification is an asset
- First Aid & CPR and required background checks must be completed as part of the approval process
