Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing effective training programs to prevent injuries, and promote overall physical health. A strong emphasis on teaching skills is essential to effectively communicate techniques and motivate individuals toward their fitness goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop personalized strength and conditioning programs
- Lead training sessions and demonstrate proper exercise techniques
- Monitor progress and adjust training plans accordingly to optimize performance
- Educate clients on injury prevention, proper nutrition, and recovery strategies
- Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages consistent progress
- Track client progress through documentation and regular assessments
Qualifications
- Proven experience in strength and conditioning or related fitness roles
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to clearly communicate exercise techniques
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and injury prevention strategies
- National certification in Personal Training or equivalent (e.g., NASM, ACE or ISSA)
- Proficiency in Nutrition planning and guidance
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate individuals
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if required
- Willing to travel and First Aid and CPR certification is preferred
Pay: $40.00-$70.00 per hour
