Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs to facilitate efficient service delivery
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, including auto estimating, service writing, and recommended repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, alignments, and auto body repairs
- Coordinate with technicians and mechanics to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Upsell additional services or parts that enhance vehicle performance and safety while maintaining transparency with customers
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle histories for future reference
- Foster positive relationships with customers by providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance schedules and automotive diagnostics
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and technical terminology
- Experience with auto estimating software and service writing processes
- Knowledge of various automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, brakes, suspensions, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repair techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Ability to upsell services tactfully while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and record keeping
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
