Warehouse Associate – Bakery Warehouse (General Labour)

Job Summary
Infinite Outsourcing Solutions (IOS) is hiring Warehouse Associates (General Labour) for a fast-paced bakery warehouse. This position involves handling bakery products, preparing orders, maintaining warehouse operations, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is dependable, physically fit, and able to work in a dynamic warehouse environment while following food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, sort, and organize bakery products and packaging materials.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Palletize, wrap, and stage products for shipping.
- Move materials safely throughout the warehouse using manual pallet jacks or other approved equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and health and safety procedures.
- Perform quality checks and report damaged or defective products.
- Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse housekeeping.
- Support receiving, production, and shipping departments as required.
- Perform other warehouse duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, or general labour experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a food manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and GMP standards.
- Experience using manual pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
Working Conditions
