About WEWELL
WEWELL is a proactive health and longevity studio in Vancouver that brings fitness, recovery, nutrition and preventive health together under one roof.
We combine technology, health data and multidisciplinary expertise to help clients improve their biological age, build long-term resilience and feel younger, stronger and more vibrant.
As WEWELL continues to grow, we are looking for a hands-on marketing professional who can help turn our strategy, campaigns and ideas into consistent, completed marketing activity.
About the Role
We are looking for a practical, creative and highly organized marketer who can work directly with the founder to execute WEWELL’s marketing strategy.
The founder will continue to lead the brand direction, positioning, offers and major campaign concepts. Your responsibility will be to turn that direction into content, campaigns, communications and completed deliverables.
You should be comfortable receiving a strategic objective, identifying the practical work required and moving it forward with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Turn WEWELL’s marketing priorities into clear weekly execution plans
- Build and maintain the content and campaign calendar
- Write social media posts, emails, promotional copy and basic website content
- Create branded graphics, carousels and campaign materials
- Film simple content inside the studio
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook and other digital platforms
- Schedule and publish content across WEWELL’s marketing channels
- Build and send email campaigns using Klaviyo
- Make basic content updates in Webflow
- Repurpose campaigns across social media, email, website, print and in-studio materials
- Support the promotion of WEWELL programs, services, partnerships and events
- Research local events, partnerships, sponsorships and community opportunities
- Coordinate with designers, printers, photographers, agencies and external partners when required
- Prepare clear creative briefs for outside specialists
- Organize marketing assets, files, timelines and approvals
- Monitor basic campaign performance, leads and engagement
- Prepare a short weekly update outlining completed work, results and next steps
- Proactively identify missing deliverables, execution gaps and opportunities for improvement
What We Are Looking For
- One to three years of experience in marketing, content creation, social media
- Strong written communication skills
- Practical experience creating content for multiple channels
- Good visual judgment and respect for brand consistency
- Basic short-form video editing skills
- Experience with email marketing or CRM platforms
- Strong organization and project follow-through
- Ability to manage several small deliverables without losing attention to detail
- Ability to work independently within an established strategy
- Comfortable learning new software and marketing tools
- Comfortable receiving feedback and revising work
- Reliable, proactive and responsive
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving small-business environment
WEWELL currently uses Figma for design, Klaviyo for email marketing and Webflow for its website. Previous experience with these exact platforms is helpful but not required. We are more interested in your ability to learn quickly, produce strong work and execute consistently.
Experience in wellness, healthcare, fitness, longevity or local community marketing would be considered an asset.
The Ideal Person
You are someone who enjoys making ideas real.
You do not need to lead the overall marketing strategy, but you are capable of understanding the strategy and independently producing the work required to support it.
You are comfortable writing a caption, creating a branded visual, filming a short video, building an email and following up with a supplier—all within the same role.
You take ownership of execution and do not wait to be reminded about every step.
Working Arrangement
This is a part-time independent contractor position for approximately eight hours per week.
The schedule will normally consist of two four-hour shifts. Some work will need to take place at the WEWELL studio in Vancouver to capture content and collaborate with the team. Certain tasks may be completed remotely.
The initial engagement will be for three months. The position may continue or expand based on performance, business needs and the development of the marketing function.
