Sea to Sky Welding is a busy custom fabrication shop serving the Sea to Sky region. We are seeking a mature, dependable individual to join our team in a role that supports both our shop operations and material handling needs.
Position Overview
This position is ideal for someone responsible, organized, and comfortable taking on a variety of tasks that help keep our shop running smoothly. The role involves driving, material handling, and general support - suited for someone who values steady work and a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver materials, parts, and products within Squamish with weekly trips to the city.
- Assist with organizing and managing material flow in the yard and shop.
- Perform small equipment repairs and regular maintenance tasks.
- Operate and learn to cut material on shop bandsaws (training provided).
- Provide general shop and yard help as required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability to perform light repairs.
- Comfortable with physical work and working outdoors at times.
- Previous experience in a shop, yard, or trades environment an asset.
