We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods location in Prince Rupert, BC.
What You’ll Earn
$19.00/hr -$22.00/hr. Your starting rate will be determined based on your previous delivery, driving, and customer service experience.
Plus, earn an additional $2.00/hour premium for open availability. This premium is subject to change at any time at the discretion of Save-On-Foods.
You will be responsible for:
Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
Other duties as assigned.
You have:
A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
A clean driver’s abstract.
Experience in a customer service-related role.
A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both day and night.
Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones
