Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, contributing to diverse construction tasks and projects.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and clean-up of construction sites
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as framing, caulking, and installation
- Support carpentry, plumbing, welding, and flooring installation activities as directed
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to assist with project execution
- Perform restoration work and apply construction painting where needed
- Lay tiles and install flooring materials according to specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout all phases of construction
- Support team members in executing complex tasks such as working with schematics or performing repairs
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools used in construction
- Knowledge of construction processes, including carpentry, plumbing, welding, and tile laying
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with caulking, restoration work, and flooring installation is a plus
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects. Pay: $17.00-$28.00 per hour
