Job Description
The Loader Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in the yard, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently. This role plays a key part in keeping yard operations running smoothly and supporting both customers and production.
Responsibilities
Bring wood to the moulder and planers.
Organize the yard
Assist with feeding materials into production
Operate loader for general yard duties as needed
Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks
Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
Experience operating a loader or similar heavy equipment (preferred)
Strong awareness of safety and surroundings
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced yard environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
Willingness to jump in and help where needed
