We are seeking a talented and passionate journeyman Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will create beautiful hairstyles while ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for every client. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell other services will contribute to the overall success of our salon. willing to learn new techniques and styles. This is a commission based position Or chair rental position with daily weekly or monthly rental options. Flexible schedule but willing to be available most days of the week/weekend and varying hours through the week between 930 am and 8 pm. Duties
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon environment.
- Engage with clients to understand their hair care goals and provide personalized recommendations.
- Upsell additional services to enhance client experience
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and handling customer inquiries.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to offer clients innovative solutions.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and attentive service.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety protocols in the salon industry.
- Experience in upselling services is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
