Role Overview
The People & Culture Business Partner is a trusted talent and people advisor for Ridge North America, responsible for helping attract, recruit, and onboard exceptional people across Ridge’s destinations and operating businesses. This role plays a critical part in building the teams that bring the Ridge experience to life across hospitality, attractions, adventure, food & beverage, retail, and guest-facing operations. Drawing on a strong understanding of service culture and operational realities, the People & Culture Business Partner partners closely with leaders to ensure Ridge attracts people who align with its standards, energy, and long-term vision.
This is a highly agile role for an experienced people professional who is energized by fast-moving environments, varied operating needs, and a high degree of autonomy. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across multiple sites, supporting leaders through change and growth, and bringing structure and consistency to recruitment in a dynamic business. This person must be practical, responsive, and confident, with the judgment to work independently while helping leaders make strong hiring decisions that reinforce the Ridge way.

Core Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
Lead full-cycle recruitment across a range of roles, with a particular focus on site-based, operational, and guest-facing positions across Ridge’s portfolio.
Partner with hiring leaders to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and recruitment strategies aligned with business needs.
Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate evaluation, offer development, and onboarding support.
Build strong talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles in hospitality, attractions, and multi-site operating environments.
Ensure recruitment processes are efficient, professional, and reflective of Ridge’s brand, service standards, and candidate experience expectations.
Business Partnership
Act as a trusted advisor to site and functional leaders on hiring needs, workforce planning, team structure, and people-related priorities.
Support leaders in making thoughtful, timely, and values-aligned hiring decisions.
Provide practical guidance on people matters related to employee experience, team effectiveness, and organizational growth.
Help bring consistency to people practices across locations while remaining responsive to local operational realities.
Culture & Employee Experience
Champion a people experience that reflects Ridge’s premium, guest-centric, and nature-immersive brand identity.
Support onboarding approaches that set team members up for success and connect them to Ridge’s service ethos from day one.
Reinforce a culture of accountability, professionalism, responsiveness, and high standards across the employee lifecycle.
Help leaders build engaged, service-oriented teams that understand the connection between employee experience and guest experience.
Operational Support
Travel regularly to sites across British Columbia and Alberta to support hiring, leader partnership, and team integration.
Build credibility with operational leaders by understanding the pace, realities, and service expectations of hospitality and attractions environments.
Identify opportunities to improve recruitment workflows, hiring tools, and people processes as Ridge grows.
Maintain strong coordination and communication across departments to ensure talent needs are addressed proactively and effectively.
Systems, Process & Growth Support
Support the development of practical, scalable recruitment processes and tools that can grow with the organization.
Help standardize interview practices, candidate evaluation, and onboarding coordination across multiple locations.
Track recruitment activity, hiring progress, and talent needs to provide visibility and support decision-making.
Contribute to broader People & Culture initiatives as Ridge expands into new destinations and operating contexts.
Qualifications & Experience
7+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or people and culture roles, ideally in hospitality, tourism, attractions, resort, or other service-intensive environments.
Strong experience recruiting for operational, guest-facing, and multi-site roles in fast-paced businesses.
Demonstrated understanding of the relationship between employee experience, service culture, and guest experience.
Proven ability to work effectively with operational leaders in dynamic, hands-on environments.
Strong judgment, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across regions.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout British Columbia and Alberta.
Comfort working independently in a hybrid environment, with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
