The HSE Data Analyst supports the Health, Safety and Environment department by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HSE data to drive informed decision-making, improve performance, and strengthen risk prevention strategies. The role focuses on data governance, reporting, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collect, validate, and consolidate HSE data from multiple sites and operational systems
- Maintain HSE databases ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Develop dashboards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and performance reports for leadership and operational teams
- Analyze incident trends, leading and lagging indicators, and risk patterns
- Support incident investigations through statistical analysis and reporting
- Support Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) continuous improvement process through interactive dashboards
- Support the safety by design process across the organization
- Automate reporting processes and improve data visualization tools
- Monitor regulatory reporting requirements and ensure compliance tracking
- Collaborate with HSE teams to identify improvement opportunities
- Support audits, inspections, and management reviews with analytical insights
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives within HSE programs
- Actively monitor HSE Artificial Intelligence development in relation to our operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, HR and Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Relevant experience in data analysis, preferably within HSE, industrial, or construction environments
- Experience working with large datasets and performance metrics
- Knowledge of HSE management systems and safety indicators is an asset
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms
- Knowledge of SQL, databases, or data automation tools
- Familiarity with incident management or HSE software systems
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
Office-based position with occasional site visits. Interaction with multidisciplinary teams across locations. Hybrid work model applies.
