OVERVIEW
Morrison Homes (Calgary) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Administrator to join our finance team. This role is essential to the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software and systems. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision and efficiency are valued.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, review, and payments.
· Communicate with trades, developer partners, and internal teams.
· Support accurate, timely vendor payments and organized recordkeeping.
· Complete month-end reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly reporting.
· Assist with the annual audit.
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· Minimum three years of accounting, accounts payable, and administrative experience; residential construction experience is an asset.
· Working knowledge of basic accounting principles; an accounting diploma or related education is preferred.
· Experience with Sage 300 CRE (Timberline) or similar accounting software.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and prioritization.
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Professional, dependable, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
