About the role
NS Yacht Service is a young, growing marine service company based out of Vancouver, working primarily mobile out of nearby marinas. We’re looking for a skilled gelcoat and fibreglass technician to keep the boats we service looking and performing their best — from structural repairs to flawless cosmetic finishes. It’s a fantastic opportunity to do craftsmanship-driven work across a huge variety of vessels, and to grow with an ambitious young company.
What you’ll be doing
- Carry out gelcoat repairs, colour-matching and finishing to a high standard.
- Perform fibreglass repairs, laminating and fabrication.
- Prep, sand, buff and polish hulls, decks and surfaces to a professional finish.
- Work mobile across marinas around Vancouver.
- Follow our procedures and take pride in a clean, professional result.

What we’re looking for
- Driver’s license
- Existing hands-on experience with gelcoat and fibreglass repair, or strong transferable aptitude
- A sharp eye for detail and a high standard of finish
- Willingness to be trained on the newest paint systems and techniques
- A team player who follows our procedures
- Communicates well and takes pride in your work
- Does what you say you’re going to do
