Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flexo Printing Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality labels efficiently. Your mechanical knowledge, manufacturing expertise, and warehouse experience will be essential in ensuring smooth production workflows and top-tier product output.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor flexo printing presses to ensure precise color registration and print quality.
- Conduct routine inspections of printing equipment, perform adjustments, and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly.
- Prepare printing substrates, inks, and plates according to job specifications, ensuring proper alignment and tension.
- Maintain cleanliness of the press area and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage raw materials, supplies, and finished products efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of forklifts when handling heavy rolls or materials.
- Document production data accurately, including job details, machine performance, and quality checks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating flexo printing presses or similar machinery within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues independently.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, packaging standards, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of machining techniques and maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to safety compliance.
