Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join the Super Smash Burgs team at our Markham location! Culinary Students are encouraged to apply!
The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for cooking, enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have restaurant industry experience, a commitment to food safety, and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Follow recipes and food preparation techniques.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Ensure proper food storage and rotation procedures are followed.
- Understand and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Prepare meals in a timely manner.
- Communicate with other kitchen staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down workstations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
