Forklift Operator & Warehouse Labourer – Temporary to Permanent
About Our Client
Our client is a very large packaging facility - they have everyone from high tech engineers, to warehouse staff, all working together for their clients all over the world! They are dedicated to creating sustainable, innovative packaging solutions. Please note that this role is NOT straight forklift driving! Only half of your day is spent on the lift truck & the remainder, you will be working general duties. Please only apply if you are comfortable with that.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Forklift Operator & Warehouse Labourer:
· Operate a Raymond Reach (electric) – for approximately only 50% of your day
· Assist with General Warehouse duties like picking and packing, for the remainder of the 50% of the day
· Putting packaging products together
· Operating machinery to create the packaging
· Complete additional tasks as assigned
What You Should Have, as a Forklift Operator & Warehouse Labourer:
· Valid Raymond reach (electric) forklift license
· 2-3 years of experience operating that forklift
· Must be bilingual (French and English)
· Must be comfortable with the 50% forklift and 50% general labour portions of the role
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs
In Return, You Will Receive:
· $19.50 per hour
· 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when requested
· Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
The Shift You Will be Working is:
· Monday to Friday
· Day shift
