Adapt Chiropractic is a modern chiropractic office in West Lethbridge, providing nervous-system focused chiropractic care for individuals of all ages. As a Chiropractic Assistant in our often fast-paced, family friendly practice you will be expected to assist in creating a welcoming, efficient experience for our valued clients and to become a vital aspect of the behind-the-scenes work required to keep our team and practice running smoothly.
POSITION
-Part-time Chiropractic Assistant, long term position
-27-30 hours/week
REQUIRED AVAILABILITY
-Mon 9:15am-6:15pm, Tues 1:00pm-6:15pm, Wed 9:15am-5:15pm, Thurs 9:15am-6:15-pm
(Typically on full days, lunch breaks occur from 1:15pm-2:40pm)
-Approximately one later evening every other week (usually Wednesday until 6:30pm)
-Occasional weekends for special events (a few/year)
*Please note that during the training period (initial 1-3 months), additional availability WILL BE REQUIRED outside of office hours, including Tuesday mornings, Fridays, and some Saturdays to ensure a complete training process*
QUALIFICATIONS
-must possess excellent in-person, over-the-phone, and email communication skills
-enjoy working with people
-able to interact with clients in a warm and professional manner
-must be comfortable working in an often fast-paced environment
-dynamic, adaptable individual with a strong ability to prioritize and multitask in an efficient manner
-amazing attention to detail & ability to follow specific procedures and instructions
-positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills quickly
-computer literacy and basic technology skills (training on our Electronic Health Record system is provided)
-exceptional recall and memorization abilities
-comfortable working alone and as part of a team
-strong organizational and problem-solving skills
-must love office dogs
-passionate about health and interested in a natural approach to healthcare
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE
Interacting with clients regularly, phones, scheduling, numerous administrative tasks, processing payments and discussing financial options, assisting doctors, utilizing chiropractic technology (will be trained in assisting with specialized exams & exam technology) & electronic health record system, managing patient flow, light cleaning, entertaining our little patients, etc. This is NOT a generic “desk job” – tasks vary greatly, we are fast-paced, and there are many new skills to learn and apply. There is a high expectation for providing a warm, welcoming, customer-service focused environment at all times.
