Skidsteer Operators Wanted.
Henderson Excavators is a small Quality, Team, and Safety driven company that specializes in grading the yards of new residential homes. We are looking for a quality driven team player. Henderson Excavators takes pride in our high-quality work and works together as a team to maintain our high standards. We do everything from Rough Grades to Spreading Gravel driveways to Final Grades on new residential homes.
- We work 10-14 hour days all summer which means working from 7am till anywhere from 5pm to 9pm. We work through the winter with reduced hours. Weekdays only, Weekends and holidays off.
- Any previous experience operating skid-steers, towing trailers or a valid class 3 are considered assets that will have an impact on your start here, we can train in house as needed.
- Must have a way to get to the shop everyday.
- Must have a working smart phone, Henderson Excavators pays $25 monthly for phone use.
- We have a zero-tolerance Drug and Alcohol Policy
What the job entails for a skid operator:
- Daily pre-trips on trucks, trailers and skids at the shop, then driving out to sites which include almost every new development in Winnipeg.
- Upload Safety documentation and Before and After pictures using the App SiteDocs
- Clean up onsite garbage.
- Operate skid-steers to shape the yard to achieve the proper grade, following grade stake heights where applicable.
- Clean out the skidsteer tracks AND shovel edgework as needed.
- Lay Patio Blocks where required for temporary access paths.
