Canadian Woodworker Ltd. is a family owned business that services the retail, industrial and educational sectors across Canada. We specialize in the sale of quality woodworking machinery, hand tools and supplies.
Canadian Woodworker is looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Junior Marketing Associate. The successful candidate will have the ability to work and manage tasks independently while working collectively with our sales and marketing teams. This candidate must have a strong background with Adobe software including Photoshop and Illustrator. Previous experience managing corporate social media accounts is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Build, schedule & send email campaigns
- Plan, create, and schedule photo and short-video content (Posts, Reels, Shorts) for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube
- Respond to comments, DMs, and customer reviews across Google, YouTube, Facebook & Instagram.
- Set up and monitor paid social ads (Meta Ads Manager & AdWords)
- Post regularly to our Google Business Profiles
- Reach out to influencers and content creators
- Assist with generating / developing digital & print marketing assets as needed
- Assist with coordinating product launches with our Purchasing & Marketing teams
Experience Required:
- A strong background with Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier) (Please provide work samples)
- Prior Experience with Meta Ads Manager
- Prior Experience with AdWords
Experience Not Required but an Asset:
- Experience with Wondershare Filmora Video Software
- Experience with Autodesk Fusion
- Experience with Wordpress Management
- Experience with PHP, SQL Databases, CPanel management or other web hosting experience
- Experience with woodworking tools and/or machinery
Compensation will be related to prior experience.
