Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver in Banff to provide personalized support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through attentive caregiving, engaging activities, and practical support. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those needing assistance with daily tasks and personal care. One must be able to work in Canada currently and have their CPR certificate. This is flexible shifts and offers a good lifestyle part time job.
Responsibilities
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organization to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed, ensuring safety at all times
- Engage clients in recreational activities, teaching new skills or hobbies to promote mental stimulation and well-being
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive home environment
- Assist with medication reminders and health-related routines under guidance from healthcare professionals
- Adapt caregiving approaches based on each client’s specific needs, preferences, and abilities
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or children is preferred
- Skills in cooking, meal preparation, and light cleaning are highly desirable
- Prior caregiving or teaching experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided if necessary
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing needs of clients
- Reliable, patient, and respectful demeanor
- Valid driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory; must be able to work independently in clients’ homes

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
