Overview
Limitless Landscapes is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction-related skills and be capable of performing a variety of landscape and site development tasks. This role involves working outdoors in diverse weather conditions and requires a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. The Landscape Technician will contribute to the successful completion of landscaping projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute landscape projects accurately
- Operate heavy equipment safely for excavation, grading, and site preparation
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for planting, mulching, and installing landscape features
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work for pathways, retaining walls, or other structures
- Install various landscape elements such as turf, trees, shrubs, and decorative features
- Conduct construction painting, caulking, and restoration work as needed to ensure project quality
- Assist with plumbing or electrical installations related to landscape features or irrigation systems
- Measure materials for construction estimating and project planning purposes
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping or construction is preferred but not required; relevant skills in carpentry, masonry, or electrical work are highly valued
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics is advantageous
- Familiarity with concrete finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, or cabinet installation is a plus
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators or loaders is desirable
- Ability to read construction plans and estimate project requirements accurately
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor construction work
