We are looking for a Pharmacist to promote our beliefs within our collaborative and dynamic pharmacy workforce!
- Must be licensed in B.C. Canada as a pharmacist or able to transfer provincial Canadian practice license.
- Knowledge of MAC or Kroll would be preferred, but not required
- Batching of PacVision would be beneficial
- Must be OAT and injection certified.
- Must have the bility to work on a multi-disciplinary team of Nurses, Pharmacists, Physicians to improve patient care in at home settings.
You will work regulars shift, with no 12 hours day, a great support system of pharmacists, LPN's and pharmacy assistants!
Principal Responsibilities:
- Accurately and timely dispense all prescriptions.
- Accurately and timely claim submission and/or registration of all patient focused services performed.
- Adhere to opioid policy
- Able to operate in a fast paced environment
- Consult with patients to maximize Rx and OTC sales.
- Perform patient focused services as deemed eligible and appropriate for the patients.
- Report any dispensing errors (Medication Incident) found to the Pharmacy Manager or reported to the Pharmacy Manager and head office within 24 hours.
- Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations.
- Responsible for supervising ongoing follow-up and collection of 3rd party receivables.
- Maintaining the dispensary inventory level within the prescribed guidelines through accurate perpetual inventory records.
