Overview
Dent King Autobody Kelowna is looking for a full-time Body Technician or experienced autobody repair apprentice. We are an independently owned and operated autobody repair shop that specializes in private autobody repairs.
Our scope of work includes repair, refinishing, and paintless dent removal for private retail clients, private insurance companies, major dealerships, fleets, and manufacturers. We DO NOT participate in the ICBC collision program. We do a wide range of repairs and refinishing, specializing in services from small to medium collision, cosmetic repairs, special projects, and unusual items.
The right candidate will have a can-do attitude and will bring with them their ideas and experience, punctuality, and willingness to help wherever required. RELATIVE EXPERIENCE is crucial for this position.
If you are an apprentice, we are looking for a suitable candidate that is eager to learn and takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail and focuses on QUALITY. The right person will move with purpose and strive to continuously grow their skills portfolio.

Duties
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and well organized work area, ensuring that tools and materials are stored properly. Also utilizing hand tools and power tools effectively and safely to complete assigned projects.
- Auto Body Experience: You must have a proven track record as an Auto Body Technician. Your experience is the foundation of your expertise, and we value your hands-on skills. You should be able to easily perform removal, installation, and repair of body panels.
- Read: Following work orders and instructions to execute repair tasks accurately.
- Versatility: The ideal applicant should have experience working on all makes and models. Your ability to adapt and excel in various scenarios is highly valued, as we service a diverse range of vehicles and clients.

Requirements
- Strong understanding of vehicle structures, components, including basic electrical knowledge.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in autobody repair work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety practices during the repair process and within the workplace.
- Ability to learn, absorb and retain instruction, and safe working practices not only on the vehicles in for repair, but also for the working environment.

Pay: $21.00-$40.00 per hour
