Delivery Driver
Overview
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented Delivery Driver to join our Express parcel delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently and professionally while maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role requires a valid British Columbia Class 5 Driver's License, strong time-management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery van to transport parcels to residential and commercial customers.
Load, organize, and secure packages in the delivery vehicle for efficient route completion.
Deliver packages accurately and on schedule while following all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
Use GPS navigation and delivery applications to follow assigned routes and complete deliveries.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
Handle packages of varying sizes and weights safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate delivery records and follow proof-of-delivery procedures.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route progress or delivery issues.
Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and delivery requirements.
Qualifications
Valid British Columbia Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Previous delivery driving, courier, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
Comfortable driving a cargo van in various weather and traffic conditions.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet delivery targets.
Familiarity with smartphone applications, GPS navigation, and electronic scanning devices.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Pay: $1,000.00-$2,500.00 per week
