- Site Supervisor – Commercial Construction (6-Month Contract)
We are seeking a Site Supervisor to lead our construction projects on-site and represent our company in the field. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
This is a 6-month contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day site operations from ground-up construction through to project closeout
- Coordinate and schedule trades, materials, and site activities to maintain project timelines
- Supervise subcontractors and onsite personnel while ensuring contract compliance
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, engineers, architects, inspectors, and municipal authorities
- Ensure all work is completed in line with drawings, specifications, and quality expectations
- Enforce all health and safety standards and maintain organized site documentation
- Implement and monitor company waste management practices on site
- Conduct regular site walkthroughs to verify quality and progress of work
- Track, report, and communicate site progress, issues, and milestones effectively
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in commercial construction (required)
- Proven experience managing construction projects valued at $2M+
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, coordination, and site execution
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills when dealing with trades and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve site issues quickly
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive projects forward
- Highly organized with strong reporting and documentation skills
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
