Job Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Brooks Specialist. This role involves leveraging advanced data analysis, demand planning, and supply chain management skills to optimize inventory, streamline processes, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems, warehouse management, and data visualization tools to enhance operational efficiency across retail and distribution channels.
Duties
- Analyze sales trends, demand forecasts, and inventory levels using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to inform procurement and replenishment strategies.
- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing through ERP systems like AS400 and other supply chain platforms.
- Oversee warehouse distribution activities and coordinate order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery and optimal materials management.
- Utilize data mining and data collection techniques to identify process improvement opportunities within supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to align sourcing strategies with retail management goals.
- Monitor warehouse management systems (WMS) and 3PL operations to optimize warehouse distribution efficiency.
- Support e-commerce order processing by analyzing demand patterns and managing procurement accordingly.
- Implement process improvements based on analysis insights to enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Utilize forklift operation skills when necessary for materials handling within warehouse environments.
Skills
- Strong expertise in analytics, data analysis skills, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Proficiency in demand planning, MRP systems, ERP systems (including AS400), and warehouse management systems.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis; familiarity with data mining techniques.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, sourcing, and retail management principles.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets for process improvement initiatives; excellent analysis skills.
- Negotiation skills for supplier engagement; understanding of purchasing processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution logistics, 3PL operations, and order fulfillment procedures.
- Skills in materials management, merchandising strategies, and e-commerce logistics.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely when required; strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
