Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in preparing and serving high-quality meals. This role is essential in maintaining smooth kitchen operations, ensuring food safety, and delivering excellent food service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes under supervision
- Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients and maintaining the cleanliness of cooking stations
- Serve meals to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and organizing supplies
- Assist with meal assembly and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain hygiene standards at all times
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food handling

Pay: $2,500.00-$3,000.00 per month
