Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with meal preparation and portioning according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.

Serve meals in a timely and courteous manner.

Set up and clean dining areas before and after meal service.

Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following sanitation protocols.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and storage areas.

Follow all food safety and infection control standards.

Report any concerns regarding food quality, safety, or resident needs to the supervisor.
Wage: 15-16/hour
Schedule: Varies/Casual

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting is an asset.

Knowledge of safe food handling practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Lift up to 25 lbs as needed.

Perform repetitive tasks such as bending, reaching, and carrying trays.
