College Park II Retirement Residence located in Regina, Saskatchewan looking for a Full Time Maintenance Assistant to join our team!
As the Maintenance Assistant you would be responsible for the building’s preventative maintenance program. You would coordinate the maintenance and repairs involving the building and the grounds, including the pool, and you would manage maintenance contracts. In addition, you would be responsible for day-to-day maintenance issues and would response to residents’ maintenance needs. You would work with other departments in order to coordinate the maintenance and repair activities with other building functions so as not to disturb or interrupt resident activities or normal business functions.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience in the maintenance of equipment and building systems, including basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
- Ability to self-regulate and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Preventative maintenance
- Inspection and maintenance of facilities to maintain a safe and attractive environment
- Responding to emergency situations
- Maintaining an adequate inventory of day-to-day supplies.
- Received at least two (2) doses of a Health Canada approved Covid-19 vaccine.
