Job Summary
We are seeking friendly and efficient Server/Counter Help to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent guest service, handle food and beverage orders accurately, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for the food industry, hospitality, and delivering memorable customer experiences. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, taking their orders either at the counter or via POS system.
- Use Micros POS or similar systems to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist in food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and service areas.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while maintaining quality service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to answer guest questions confidently.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed, ensuring smooth operation during shifts.
- Uphold high standards of guest services by addressing guest needs professionally and courteously.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Good time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed during shifts.

Pay: $15.90 per hour
