Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Supervisor to oversee inventory accuracy, warehouse workflow, 3PL coordination, and carrier performance across our operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping execution, and inter-warehouse coordination.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on warehouse operations experience, solid inventory management knowledge, and proven experience working with 3PL partners, couriers, carriers, and freight forwarders. This position requires a proactive and analytical individual who can improve processes, resolve shipment issues, and ensure smooth daily execution across internal and external warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and support the warehouse team to ensure daily operational targets are achieved.
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, variance investigations, stock reconciliation, and process improvements.
- Monitor inventory movement across internal warehouses and 3PL locations to ensure accurate stock visibility and control.
- Coordinate closely with 3PL partners to manage inbound shipments, outbound orders, inventory updates, service levels, and issue resolution.
- Work with couriers, carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to schedule pickups, monitor delivery performance, and resolve shipment exceptions.
- Proactively communicate shipment status, delays, delivery issues, and inventory concerns to internal teams and customers as required.
- Develop, track, and manage warehouse and inventory KPIs, including receiving accuracy, order accuracy, shipping timelines, inventory variance, productivity, and cost control.
- Conduct cost analysis related to freight, 3PL services, warehousing, and shipping operations to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.
- Support inter-warehouse logistics, stock transfers, and coordination between company locations and third-party warehouse partners.
- Ensure warehouse activities comply with company policies, safety standards, quality requirements, and operational procedures.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and accountability.
- Travel occasionally to other warehouse or 3PL locations to support inventory checks, operational reviews, or process alignment.
Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, or 3PL coordination.
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Manager, Operations Lead, Logistics Coordinator, or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, variance investigation, receiving, fulfillment, and shipping processes.
- Hands-on experience working with 3PL providers, couriers, carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse service partners.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold warehouse teams accountable in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing KPIs, operational reports, cost analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate between internal teams, customers, and external logistics partners.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment with changing priorities and time-sensitive shipments.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support multiple warehouse sites or 3PL locations as required.
