SOC 208: Inequality and Social Justice.
This course introduces students to sociological perspectives on issues of inequality and social justice. It analyzes the origins and consequences of social inequalities and the mechanisms by which they are perpetuated and challenged.
Position Requirements
- Hold a MA in Sociology;
- A record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level;
- Have experience managing classroom and online technologies used by the University of Regina (including UR Courses [Moodle])
Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
This course is scheduled to be Face-to-Face at Concourse in Saskatoon. The class is scheduled for Tuesdays 1430-1715. Instructors are expected to have one office hour per week.
Sessional Lecturers may have preparatory work to do before the start date and sometimes may have to deal with grading tasks after the termination date.
