Group NB, a leading staffing and recruitment agency in the Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain industries, has operated across Canada since 2007. We are currently seeking a Full-time Warehouse Supervisor in Winnipeg, MB.
Schedule: Shift, Monday - Friday , 7:00 am start. End time varies depending on inbound volume.
Salary: $20hr
Responsibilities:
- Warehouse knowledge and experience in logistics required.
- A strong familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel in particular) mandatory for completing weekly reports.
- The employee will manage a team that is responsible for breaking down and separating inbound freight, no use of equipment needed.
- You will be on the floor working with your staff as well. 95% physical work, 5% clerical.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must have Certified Safety Shoes/Boots in good condition.
- Basic counting/Math knowledge required in order to document pieces moved.
- Must be available Sunday to Friday days.
- Must have supervisor or manager experience in a warehouse within 2-5 years in Canada.
Wages for you and your staff are based on inbound pieces, so will fluctuate slightly. In addition to your piece count wage, there will be an additional team lead bonus. Wage depends on how well you manage your team and the work presented.
